WMS Capabilities

I've been trying to use the WMS Form Demo for another WMS Server.

Here is the info:

http://wms.globexplorer.com/gexservlets/wms?REQUEST=GetCapabilities

I can see a list of layers, but I cannot load any imagery.

I know the server is active, since I can get imagery using ArcView.

I'm currently using, in 0.9:

LoadWms("http://wms.globexplorer.com:80/gexservlets/wms?");

In my 2.0 test it was ok.

Did you set a latlonbounding box?

latlonbox = new SharpMap.Geometries.BoundingBox(-180.0, -90.0, 180.0, 90.0);
map.ZoomToBox(latlonbox);

else try:
wmsLayer.ContinueOnError = false;

Hi Grinder;

Paulendulk is onto something there. In my own experience (getting stuff from terraServer), I would just get blank pages back. When I turned my old fixed layers back on, I was able to zoom in and "poof" at some point of zooming, the WMSlayers began to return images. I can only assume that terraserver was not sending stuff back due to lack of proper zoom and my app's inability to zoom properly without some reference. Of course, this is just a guess at the observed behavior.

Thanks for the info guys. The latlongbounding box was indeed the problem. Once I set the correct values, I was able to use that WMS server.
