How to add clickable user controls to map

Hi all!

I would like to show on a map some clickable items, each having its own graphics representation. For instance, I would like to have controls representing the status of computers installed in different locations directly on the map. When clicking on a computer icon, a dropdown menu has to be shown. Possibly, the user should also be able to move the control.

I've managed to show custom bitmaps on the map by drawing directly on its graphics with GDI+, but this approach seems not the best solution form my needs.

Any help is appreciated!
