I am working for Yorkshire Water (UK) on a web mapping project for showing pipe lines and other water works features over normal background tiles. We are implementing ShapMap 0.9 which is giving us fantastic results.

We have recently had a technical review and our IT gods have expressed concerns about malicious attacks from open source code. It was suggested that we (I) go through the source line by line to look for suspicious code and get a list of reputable companies who have used SharpMap to prove that it is 'safe'.

I would like to start a list of companies in this thread who have successfully used SharpMap without any security problems...

Don't let IT weinies push you around. (And don't look too closely at the GeometryToWKB.cs code...)
