Spatialite to KML

I am working on an application and will need to query data in a SQLite (Spatialite) database and return the results as KML. The KML will more than likely be a network link in the end product but for the time being I just need to see if it is possible to do this translation. Actually, I know that it is possible I just don't know how to do it in SharpMap.

Thanks in advance,

Hello adamestrada,

as far as I know there are no working KML-Providers or-converters for neither v0.9 nor v2.0.

If you want to do a converter for SharpMap v0.9 you may find Bill Dollins' Geometry to GeoJson converter interesting.

There is a placeholder in SharpMap v2.0, but I don't think there is more then XSD - like conversion of the spec.

Thanks very much for the information! I don't think that it's gonna be all that difficult to create the KML writer...I just wanted to make sure that it has not already been done and when I came across this code I figured I would ask the list just to see if I was missing anything. Thanks again for the prompt reply!
