Hi semsem_only -

I'm not sure what you mean by "to make function with it".

Do you have a feature and want to highlight it on the map, for example?

This is a spatial operation which SharpMap only can do when using the NetTopologySuite provider.

You can find it here: NetTopologySuite Data Provider.

can't show iprovider and it say no refranse to the iprovider and GisSharpBlog.

in GeometryConverter class
SharpMap.Geometries.Geometry[] geometries,
GisSharpBlog.NetTopologySuite.Geometries.GeometryFactory factory)

the problem here in germetries

if this need to special name space or dll.can to tell me:)

IProvider is an interface in SharpMap.dll. Make sure there is a reference to that DLL (or project) in the NtsProvider project.
Feb 26, 2008 at 6:01 PM
yes, there is reference but don't work
Feb 26, 2008 at 8:09 PM
Well, you'll have to figure out why it isn't working, since that is where the IProvider interface lives.

Are you using the NTS Provider in source or binary form?

If it is in binary form, are you sure the versions are correct?

i want to display data from GPS output data called as( NMEA)

How to convert this format to point to render it.

perhaps will give you a starting point
alternatively you could probably pull something out of the managed Gps driver for WM6 part of the windows mobile 6 professional sdk. (Don't use the one from the WM5 SDK - its junk). HTH jd.

thnx, but i use desktop application not web:(
Mar 1, 2008 at 3:53 PM
Sorry the gps driver wont help you - I forgot it doesn't parse nmea but returns a struct directly from the os. Part two of the codeproject article should give you everything you need though - the problem is not a web or desktop or mobile problem just a string parsing problem HTH jd

There's a GPS driver dll here that will help you get started:
