Any Wpf Success?

Hello,

I have a fairly simple application using WPF that will simulate planes flying around the map in patterns such as ellipses. I am wondering if anyone has had success using wpf either using a windows forms host or using SharpMap Controls for wpf, or using a windows forms host in wpf.

Also, maybe someone can tell me if this will be possible using SharpMap, ie flying planes around the map.

Thanks,

I must admit, I havn't tried to use SharpMap as hosted Windows Forms in WPF but I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work.

To move objects around on your map, you can use VariableLayerCollection.

If you are looking for a plain WPF Solution you may want to try Paul den Dulks SharpMap port http://MapsUI.codeplex.com. AFAIK It does not support the VariableLayerCollection concept, but I doubt that that is the best approach for a WPF solution anyway.
