is it possibile to use sharpmap to create conture lines, isolines . . . .

where can i find example.

Can some one help me. i have pairs of coordinates with altitudes.

i would like to extract conture lines.

thanks

You cannot do that out of the box.

You need to use NTS functionality to build a Delauney triangulation on your dataset and after that apply some contouring algorithm (e.g. CONREC) on the output data.

IIRC, Tummi has performed that (for DotSpatial) but may be able to help you out.

Hi,

in these places:

http://dotspatial.codeplex.com/discussions/361370

http://www.meteothinker.com/wContourProduct.aspx

You can find some ideas.

I have developped a Conrec version of my extension for DotSpatial that use NTS to build poligon still not published (I'll do it as soon as possible). Implement them in SharpMap I think may be possible, but probably is better using the wContour!

all the best
