I am developing a .NET project [C#] that needs to export/write features as GML and GeoJson, including, of course, the attributes; data could queried by a database or manually entered.
So the question is it possible to export the entire feature dataset using SharpMap?
Is there anybody who can help me or suggest the right place to start from?
thank you in advance.

AFAIK SharpMap cannot produce GML with full features (geometry with attributes).
I am not aware of any other .Net open source package that can do that either.

With the help of NTS (and some effort that is currently going on) SharpMap will be able to produce GeoJSON.

Thank you very much for your quick reply FObermaier.
I have just noticed that also Sharpmap has a class SharpMap.Converters.GeoJSON for managing GeoJSON format.
In any case I'll take a look also to NTS converter. At first glance the approach used by both [NTS and sharpmap] seems to be similar.
thank you very much
