Consider the use of partial classes

As an open source project, everybody can surely download the source files and make own changes, anyway if you do it then you are exposed to the need of keep track of your customizations, that is apply them again and again as you try to keep updated your copy. This is nothing new, this is normal practice between branches of code.

I think anyway that some scenarios could take advantage by the use of partial classes, eg if the Map class were partial, a developer could simply add a new file with its inner extensions with less worries about future upgrades.

Obviously I'm talking about scenarios where a subclass is not appropriate or not feasible.

What do you think about it ?
