hi all

Is there a way/possibility to highlight overlapping/superimposed objects ("google earth"-like) when hovering the position with the mouse cursor? in my application I illustrate various objects by using different geometries (points, line strings, polygons, ..). unfortunately, some of the do have the identical geographic location (lon/lat) and "hide" each other.

many thx in advance -

Currently there is no functionality that does this.

I would imagine you could do this using a customtheme.
  • Upon MouseMove events, query for features within a small box around the cursor
  • If there are any copy them to a separate vectorlayer, add that layer to the layer collections if not already present
  • In the custom theme, modify the puntal geometry to a GeometryCollection consisting of a LineString from the original point to the shifted point and the shifted point.
