Hello,I am trying to draw a circle on a given layer or a shaepfile with center point known as well as the radius known along with panning and zooming.As i am a beginner in this field,Can anyone please tell me how to draw a circle on a given layer or on a shapefile?Is there any way to draw a circle knowing the center point and the radius?Being a beginner i have very less knowledge of this part.Also if u can tell me if it is necessary to add a layer on existing layer while drawing a circle or we can draw it on the same existing layer of the shapefile?Thanks

You have a shapefile with the points and the radius as an attribute?
In this case you need to create a theme that sets the point/symbol size based on that attribute, sth like
public class PointSizeTheme : SharpMap.Rendering.Thematics.ITheme
    private reaonly SharpMap.Styles.VectorStyle _style;
    private readonly string _radiusField;

    public PointSizeTheme(SharpMap.Styles.VectorStyle _style, string radiusField) {
        _style = style;
        _radiusField = radiusField;

    public SharpMap.Styles.IStyle GetStyle(SharpMap.Data.FeatureDataRow fdr) {
        _style.PointSize = System.Convert.ToInt32(fdr[_radiusField]);
        return _style;
