Errors when compiling in VS2005

I'm new with SharpMap, so I expect that I may do this incorrect.

I've taken the SharpMap and SharpMap.UI folders from the latest trunk and included them into my VS solution. On compiling I get "type expected" errors in the "OGCFilter_FE1_1_0.cs" file. The compiler complains at "new[]". When I change them to for example, "new string[]" everything compiles. Am I doing something wrong?

I cannot connect directly to the trunk via svn, because of the environment setup the company uses where I'm working at.

I'm using Visual Studio 2005, .NET 2.0.

Thanks

Hi cjherasmus

new[] is a vs2008 syntax - you are correct to convert it to new sometype[]

(note the vs2005 solution is not being actively maintained so errors like this will happen occasionally)

johndiss,

After converting, I also had to include ProjNet and GeoAPI into my solution. I then got a warning in the XPathQuery source file complaining about the "FunctionName". I changed to "TargetNsFunctionName" for the TargetNs parameter. Everything is compiling now successfully. I guess I'm still on the right track here?
