I've been looking across the wiki here at sharpmap.codeplex.com and have noticed that most of the information is woefully out of date.
Is this site even being updated anymore? The only area that seem to be remotely current is the discussion list.
You are right, the wiki pages are not maintained properly. That does not imply that the information provided is false. We (the developers) have a real life besides sharpmap. Maybe there are people to volunteer?
Even the current source code is in the Google repository.
The code for sharpmap v0.9 is here at codplex, and it is not even old ;-). The code at googlecode belongs to sharpmap v2 which is currently under development.
Maybe we could add a wiki page about what is possible with it and what is not.
If not, is there a site that is being updated?
Not that I know of. There are some bloggers that provide useful information about their experiences with sharpmap.
For example the latest listing from a developer meeting was December 2007 (three years ago).
Are the developer's still meeting?
The developers are still meeting, usually on Wednesdays at ~9 PM CET. But you might find some of us in the channel at other times, too, but there is not always talk. Try making yourself heard by addressing people directly. If that does not help and you cannot
attend at that time, your way for support is the forum.
