I am recently doing the project of showing Colormap of difference in different
property such as population density or income level. My project is an open
source project.
And I see the example showing us in screenshot.
http://www.codeplex.com/SharpMap/Wiki/View.aspx?title=Screenshots&referringTitle=Home
"Thematic maps and labels
Example showing a map where each country is rendered with a rainbow-style
color gradient based on the population density, and labels showing the
country name (SharpMap v0.9) "
But I can not find it from SharpMap v0.9.

Could you provide me the code of that example? So I can avoid doing the
repetitive work. And make contribution to the community more efficiently.

Thank you very much!

Cheers,

Hi Chao, see \Trunk\DemoWebSite\App_Code\MapHelper.cs you will see a method called  InitializeGradientMap which should get you on your way

Hi John,
Thank you very much!
I find the web based the program. And it helps me a lot.

But I still did not find the
Desktop test application using the MapImage control
from
http://www.codeplex.com/SharpMap/Wiki/View.aspx?title=Screenshots&referringTitle=Home.

Where can I find the windows based program showing on the screenshots?

Thank you so much!

Thanks a lot!
I ran the program. It helps me a lot.
But it seems that the program is different from the screenshots which have interface to control
Fill Color, Outline and Outline Color. I am just wondering why it is different?
If I can get the version from the screenshots, it will be great for me.

Anyway, I really appreciate your help!
Thank you so much!

Hi Chao, I dont think that application is available, the screenshot shows the library in use in another application - not the library itself.. jd
