I am trying to add a layer to a virtual earth map and I have successfully got it rendering polygons read from a shape file and then displaying as a TileLayer on a virtual earth map inside a web page.
However, I would like the map background to be transparent, so I have not BackColor set. When I do this, the polygons that are rendered by SharpMap seem to be "corrupted". There are small square shaped areas connected to the outline of my polygons in random
areas. As soon as I give my map a background this problem goes away.
Has anyone else come across this?
The shape file I am using is roughly 50MB.
