AjaxMapControl control has a bug. It doesn't disable scrolling of the page on mouse hover (onmousemove DOM event).
If I simply add a wrapper div and javasript code for disabling scrolling, it works until mouse hovers over the AjaxMap - then the scrolling gets re-enabled.
To clarify, here is sample ASP.NET Web Forms code:
<div id="wrapper"   onmousemove="javascript:disable_scroll()" onmouseout="javascript:enable_scroll()">

<!--- Here is some content. When mouse hovers over it, scrolling is disabled. -->

<!--- Here is the AjaxMapControl. When mouse hovers over it, scrolling gets re-enabled. -->
<smap:AjaxMapControl width="500px" height="500px" id="ajaxMap" runat="server" ... />

Any suggestions about how to correct this? Which changes in the source code should be made?

The use of AjaxMapControl is not encouraged to deprecated.
Please use OpenLayers along with SharpMap as a WMS Server, like it is shown in the examples
